We are going with teak replace. Since now we took about 1 week to remove old one, and 1 week to put new resin slice (we need it… Rain came inside in some point).
Shipyard needs two month for ordering teak and on month for setting it on deck.
On end of october they will start.

I’m going to change all the steering gear (cardanic system) with a new hydraulic system…
(www.mavimare.com )
So … also Autopilot will work using “hydraulic power and control”…
In a nutshell…:
turning the rudder, it will actuate a pump which will push the oil in a piston (through pipes) and the piston will move the rudder.
The autopilot, through its own pump, will interface with this hydraulic system
I will update you in the next weeks… but I think it will be a good system (I hope…. )
