Arild Jaeger

I grew up with boating and boatbuilding, studied naval architecture and hold an engineering doctorate in ship hydrodynamics. I first heard about C&N when I was a student in the eighties, and I first had the pleasure of sailing a Nic 48 from Chichester to Harwich with a former colleague in 1992. It was only in 2004 that I became the owner of Far Out, Nic 38/10. When we bought her, our children were only 1 and 3 years old, so we only did short distances each day. We live in Oslo, Norway, and use the boat from May to September in weekends and summer vacations along the southern Norwegian and western Swedish coasts.
