Hi All,

We have just spent two months cruising the West Coast of The USA in a big gas guzzling Dodge van, we very nearly got up to Canada to See Roger and Ann from Race Passage but ran out of time.

We are now back in Grenada and sorting out the maintenance after a year of concentrated cruising. Top of the list is the mizzen step where the traditional Nicholson 38 problem of a rotted wooden step has been compounded by an ant infestation. The little rotters have now been ousted and lashings of resin are being persuaded into increasingly smaller voids.

You cruised the West coast US by land?? We’re in the Seattle area – I wonder if you made it this far north, as we would have enjoyed hosting you and learning more about your adventures! Maybe next time. 8~)

Hi .. It was such a hectic trip, we did make it up to Seattle for one day only but ran out of time and had to turn back South.

We shall definately return sometime but for now we are preparing for the East Coast of the USA.
