After exchanging my Yanmar 4JH4E with a Waterworld 20.0i I made my first experiences with an electric engine. It works good! The 20 kW (27 HP) is enough to get the boat off and into the marina. I have three 6.8 kWh batteries (LiFePO4) only for the engine that give me enough capacity for a half day cruising if the wind goes down.
