Michael joins us from Los Angeles USA. He says he had to almost fully restore Orion in the 10 years of his ownership, after rescuing her from neglect.
Orion was built in ’69 and shipped to San Diego. Michael is pretty certain her hull is #51 – but her name plate is gone. Jeremy, please straighten us out if we’ve got this hull number wrong.
Look forward to hearing more about your restoration work, Michael, and welcome to our group. I’ve attached the photo you sent me that shows some of your handiwork!
