Neco autopilot control unit (or parts thereof)

Due to malfunctioning of our course-setting-knob on our Neco, I am trying to get hold of a spare unit, entire or in bits, so I can find out what’s at the back of the knob, without having to travel a 2500 mile round trip to Greece to dismantle ours.

If you can assist with this problem, with photo of the inside, for example, or with pictures or descriptions from a manual, or with the parts themselves, please contact me.
