As part of Nutmeg’s recent refit, I made a couple of alterations to the forecabin, to make it more pleasant and easy to use. I added a (non-watertight) bulkhead up for’ard, and also as part of the new teak deck I took out the anchor locker as we use a 20kg Delta which doesnt fit. The hole was infilled with 2 layers of 12mm marine ply, glassed over on both sides.
Just thought others might find it useful – happy to answer any questions or post more photos.
