Sadly I’ve reached the point where I have to sell our beloved Ronar M. She’s not getting the use she deserves and a bad business decision has left us short of income.

Ronar M is well known, Hull no.106, Sail no.1978Y, built 1972. Very well maintained over her life.

Phil Shotton replied to the topic New cockpit covers in the forum Deck and deck fittings

On the subject of cockpuit covers (enclosures?) the covers of Ronar M have jammed in the tracks at the roof on either side. The vertical tracks on the windscreen and the rear track on the roof are fine.

Any tips for how to remove them? I presume salt corrosion of the aluminium track and swelling of the boltrope has caused the problem.

Phil
