I have been hit at night by a 13m yacht who broke its moorings and one of my stanchion bases has fractured, amongst other traumatic things. Has anyone any ideas where to find these items? I have found new bronze or polished gunmetal ones online , but they probably won’t be an exact fit, eg:

    http://www.sentinelboats.co.za/bronze-stanchions.html

    stanchion base fractured

The original bases appear to be triangular, 65 mm high, approx 92mm each side of the triangle base, I imagine they were chromed bronze originally but have reverted to bronze!

Any ideas or anyone with a spare one I’d be happy to buy it from you.

    Thanks

    Duncan

My local steel man tells me it can be welded, with difficulty, so we are going down that road.
