Hey everyone, if you are like me, you probably have lots of photos of your Nic 38 under sail, but taken from on board.
I’m looking for a nice photo of a Nic 38 under sail, taken from off the beam perhaps, and hopefully with lots of canvas flying, and sea spray and blue skies, etc.
Just for fun, I’ve converted the Nic 38 Handbook (from Jeremy Lines) into an ebook (Kindle format, but it should be readable on any device that has a Kindle app or that can read the .mobi format). But I need a nice photo for the cover! (Amazon requires it.) In fact, I need two photos…..
Anyone that can help? I looked through the photos here and have not yet seen the one I want.
Of course, once finished, am happy to send the ebook to anyone interested. I’ll probably publish it on Amazon, or you can contact me directly. In any case, I’ll post a note about it later…

Thanks Trevor! Nice pics. Do you have a version of the IMG_6631.jpg that has more pixels? I need at least 1000 pixels on the longest side. For this photo, that might be vertical when cropped.
And to anyone else with photos of their Nic 38 under sail, I’m still looking for more!

Sorry, that’s all I have. The pix were taken by a professional with professional gear so ought to be ok to enlarge, crop etc.

Hi Van, I have a number of photos that I will send you. I am still waiting for a new photo of Suala under sail with cruising chute deployed, taken last week by a friend. Will forward it to you when I get a download from him. I will send the ones I have by e-mail in the meantime.
BrianThanks everyone who sent pictures (mostly via Marilyn). Some great pics there! I’ll sift through them over the next couple of weeks – we are due to set sail tomorrow for points north and west (British Columbia). I’m assuming if you sent them you dont mind me adding them to the Nic 38 manual, with appropriate acknowledgement of course.
