I am interested in buying / having constructed a pair of beaching legs for ‘Conche’.
Has anyone any design / measurements /photos /experience of legs for a Nic 38?

    Hi Bob,
My beaching legs are made from 10cm diameter aluminium extrusion with cast aluminium foot and head.

The foot is 22cm square with 4 triangular flanges on each corner to support the 10cm deep socket for the tube. The head
as you can tell from the photo has a flat face which fits flush
to the hull side (a rubber mat/washer seperates the head from the hull)
The bolt hole is centraly positioned 5cm from the top.

The overall length of the feet is 230cm.

Hope that helps if you require any further info please
    let me know.

    Kind Regards
    Alan

    Hi Alan,
Thank you very much for the photos and measurements.
    Just a few questions…
To clarify, you say the overall length is 230cm and the hull bolt hole is 5cm from the top, so am I correct in thinking the distance from the bolt hole to the underside of the feet is 225cm?
Do you know what diameter and thread the moulded bolt hole in the hull is?
Have you used these? Did they work ok?
    Kind Regards,
    Rob

Hi Rob, (got it right at last)
Yes the length of the legs are 225cm from the centre of the bolt hole to the
bottom of the leg. The bolts are on board and I’m at home at the moment but will
Be able to give you the info on Wednesday when I’m next down there.
    Kind Regards
    Alan
